Parents' Guide to Back-to-School Styling
I can’t believe it’s already back-to-school season (my boys are starting 1st and 3rd grade this fall—time flies!). With homework, studying, and sports right around the corner, I thought I’d share some of my favorite products for kicking off the 2019-2020 academic year. Parents, this is for you!
From pencils to textbooks, practice tests, and calculators, school season can get messy fast. These teak storage crates are the perfect solution. They play well with any color scheme, so you don’t have to worry about clashing in your craft room, kitchen, or home office. Even if you’re just decluttering a common area, these crates help you reclaim some calm and get organized.
If your little one is a big-time collector, toy lover, or athlete, I think you’ll love our Iron Trunk. Just over three feet long, it has plenty of room for stuffed animals, soccer balls, cleats, or anything else your student needs to store. The hammered iron material doesn’t compete with other palettes, and the rustic nails give it a really fun touch.
Our Cormack Canister is perfect for the budding artist. As pretty as it is practical, this storage option would look great filled with colored pencils, markers, or paint brushes. Since it comes in three different sizes, you can mix and match their contents for a fun decorative effect. Style them together or apart—on desks, bookshelves, or inside cabinets.
For bookworms and night owls, you need our Three-Legged Desk Lamp. I’m a huge fan of the matte aged steel and exposed bulb. If you’re looking for something more traditional, I love our Industrial Table Lamp. Its black base and sturdy base make this piece as classy as it is functional.
(P.S… Don’t forget to get something for yourself. How about our marble Wine Cooler to celebrate?)
